General Surgical Procedures

Even with specialisation in Gastrointestinal surgery, Mr. Abdullah’s General Surgical work remains an integral part of his practice. This is a necessary skill for a Regional Surgeon.  General surgical procedures offered include the following:

• Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery. Mr. Abdullah developed a special interest in this while working in Pakistan and Malaysia. He has been doing thyroid surgery for over 25 years. 
• Breast Cancer Surgery including lymph node dissections. All such patients are also discussed in a multi-disciplinary team for further oncological treatment which is available in Shepparton.
• Smaller procedures like Varicose vein surgery, Carpal tunnel release, Dupuytren’s contracture excision, Circumcision, and Vasectomy are also performed.
