Australian Sun is unforgiving and has resulted in large number of people affected by skin cancer like Melanoma, Squamous Cell Cancer (SCC) or Basal Cell Cancer (BCC). The face and limbs (both upper and lower) are commonly affected.
Operating on such cancer forms a significant part of my practice. Procedures requiring flaps or skin grafts are usually done in one of the hospitals that I work. Smaller skin cancers are operated under local anaesthesia within my Rooms.
